Soft off the ground.
All-in is a bet, daring and light! Keep everything inside, or include all the structural elements inside the cushions that make up the sofa, and let him float off the ground. A very soft sofa, with domestic and informal postures, with generous but graceful shapes. In fact, the soft sofa is often synonymous with a consistent presence, which generally rests on the ground and has an important visual impact. We wanted to soften it: the wooden legs, which lift it, seem to contain the abundance of cushions, giving you order and composure.

The unbearable lightness of the sofa
The solid ash wood of the legs is shaped to highlight the lightness of the sofa. The trapezoidal section seems to declare their direction, towards the inside, as if to contain the aerial expansion of the cushions. Their section widens as they reach the seat, to create a sort of connective capital between the vertical and horizontal sections under the seat, and then shrinks to the ground, as if the sofa’s weight was sustained on tiptoes.
Flying is distracting from gravity.
How wonderful is it to fall asleep on the sofa? Feeling our attention slipping, from our head to a soft embrace. And from there it confidently takes off to the rosy nebulas of dreams. Flying is distracting yourself from gravity, letting go of the stiffness of the ground and trusting tenderness. Isn’t it what we do when we allow ourselves to rest, even during the day?
